Minor timestamp issue?

I notice that when I add a comment to a discussion - as I'm doing here - the timestamp button works correctly and produces a small line and the timestamp code: dash-dash-tilde-tilde-tilde-tilde. If I use the edit tab and click on the timestamp button, though, it returns dash-dash-dash-dash. Does this matter to life as we know it? ^_^; --Kandei-chan 08:09, 12 June 2007 (PDT)

Recommended links

In the fanfic section, it's currently recommended to link to the RRDatabase which, on the other hand, is prohibited. What shall we do about it now? Recommend linking to the Café as the only source which will always stay within the Ranger Wiki rules? Put up a list of appropriate sources to choose from? --Midnight Man 03:40, 27 June 2007 (PDT)

I kind of assumed that the RRDB was off limits...

Lance, what do you think about linking to clean material on the database? We could do this:

Warning: This article links to an item on the RRDatabase website.
Although this article directly links only to material on the RRDatabase which is suitable for all ages, that material may link to mature content.
To avoid exposure to this content, do not follow links on the RRDatabase beyond the links this article gives.
