Synopsis

Chip and Dale are trapped aboard a sunken pirate ship, the domain of the Pi-Rats. It is left up to Gadget, Monty and Zipper to rescue them.

Trivia

  • The Golden Gate Bridge shown in the background in one scene is the most important point for the Rangers' hometown being San Francisco.
  • The Pi-Rats captain - Long Lost Lafitte - is a reference to a real pirate - Jean Lafitte, who indeed disappeared (probably was mortally wounded during an engagement). One of the legends surrounding this figure tells that his treasure sank with his ship, the Pride. It is believed that it went down during a hurricane. Another version of that story states that it was in fact the weight of Lafitte's treasures that sunk his ship.
