The Rescue Rangers work to protect a giant perl from Fat Cat and his gang. Their initial attempt to protect the perl appears to fail, but the Rangers then reveal that they were protecting a decoy. Meanwhile, Chip and Dale get in a battle of "gotcha last" that spreads to all the Rangers. Chip organizes the rangers to get Dale. Using a radio transmitter, they make Dale believe he is receiving messages from "Rama-Lama-Ding-Dong" who can give him psychic powers. Meanwhile, Fat Cat discovers the perl is fake and sends his henchmen to capture the Rescue Rangers. Dale (believing he is invisible) is captured by Fat Cat's henchmen, which is heard by Chip. The remaining Rangers set out to Rescue Dale, and find that Fat Cat and his cronies are on their way to attempt to steal the perl again. Using the transmitter, the Rangers make Fat Cat and his gang believe that Dale does have psychic powers. They eventually defeat Fat Cat and company, keep the perl safe, and rescue Dale.
The Rescue Rangers
Chip: Say Dale, I bet I can read your mind.
Dale: Ha! I can't even read my mind but go ahead and try.
- Dale, in fact, gets Chip "last"
- "Rama-Lama-Ding-Dong" is a reference to the song of the same title released by The Edsels in 1958
