Some pages on the Ranger Wiki are mirrored at Fan History Wiki via interwiki linking. See here for the Fan History Wiki help page regarding the interwiki link.

The Ranger Wiki has a semi-formal relationship with Fan History Wiki. However - beyond the fact that some content is mirrored on both wikis and interwiki linking is enabled - the Ranger Wiki is not in any way associated with Fan History Wiki.

Interwiki Linking

The Ranger Wiki has interwiki linking setting up with Fan History Wiki. Interwiki links can be set up by adding fanhistory: in front of links designed to point at the Fan History Wiki. Interwiki links are governed by the Ranger Wiki rules regarding external links (see rule #8).

External Linking

You are encouraged to cite Fan History Wiki when documenting the history of the fandom where Fan History Wiki has relevant information. You are also encouraged to add links in the links section of articles where applicable.

Content Mirroring

Articles that are mirrored should have the following code put on the top of the article: {{FanHistory mirror}}

This adds a text box which looks like:

Fan history wiki.png This article mirrored on Fan History Wiki at Mirrored Articles.
When editing this article, please make the same changes on Mirrored Articles on Fan History Wiki. If you feel that the mirror violates The Ranger Wiki's rules, please comment on the talk page .

Rules

All local rules still apply to mirrored articles. As stated above, Interwiki links are governed by the Ranger Wiki rules regarding external links (see rule #8).
