Since 2002, the Acorn Cafe awards outstanding Rangerphiles, creations and achievements in several categories with the Golden Acorn Award. Nominations and elections are done by the Rangerphiles. The ceremonies themselves are held at the end of a year or the very beginning of the following year, pre-written as fanfic-like scripts by involved Rangerphiles and assembled and published by Dr. Indy in real-time to create the feeling of a live show.

2004

The 2004 Golden Acorn Awards ceremonies took place at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City at December 29, 2004, starting at ca. 7:00 PM (Central Standard Time). Michael Demcio appeared as a special guest to honor the show's 15th anniversary.

The plaques have been created by Lotacats.

The artwork has been done by Jon Lemerond, Lotacats and Shelley Pleger.
