Rangerphile avatars represent Rangerphiles in round robins and occasional roleplays which at times occur at the Acorn Cafe, but also in fan fiction such as the Acorn Cafe Adventures. They usually appear in groups per story, that is, self-insertions without inserting any other Rangerphile avatar are quite scarce. As most Rangerphile avatars are animals, they are also called fursonas.
