The 2007 Golden Acorn Awards took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on February 29, 2008, starting at 7:00 PM CST (01:00 AM GMT).

Presentation artwork and comics were done by Severe Weather Eddie. Also, KomandoRR wrote an acceptance speech in comic format. In addition and for the first time ever, there were several videos at the 2007 Ceremonies, one of which marked the 10th anniversary of the Acorn Cafe.

Another prominent contribution to Acorn Cafe's anniversary was Mr. Spumoni's epic chronicle, The Rangerillion which gathered most of the major written award categories.

CrashBurn was 2007 Rookie of the Year, and has continued to be a great representative of Rangerphile class and ability. Fish received the Lifetime Achievement award, a well-deserved recognition for a veteran Rangerphile who impacted the community from the start and continues to do so today.

The plaques have been designed by Jareth, and again, Toni has created a mini-plaque kit.

As a new category, Best Motivational Poster was a tribute to the masses of motivational posters created in 2007 and replaced Best Caption which would have lacked nominees due to the Caption Contest being on hiatus.

2007 was the last year to feature the All-Time Best Awards for various reasons. They were planned to be replaced by a Hall of Fame.
