The 2004 Golden Acorn Awards ceremonies took place at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City at December 29, 2004, starting at ca. 7:00 PM (Central Standard Time). Michael Demcio appeared as a special guest to honor the show's 15th anniversary. Of course, he didn't write his part himself.

The plaques have been created by Lotacats.

The artwork has been done by Jon Lemerond, Lotacats and Shelley Pleger.
